Customer Service Representative

Position Description:

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for day-to-day activities to fulfill customer expectations in a timely professional manner. Duties are cross-functional and cover a wide variety of tasks. To be successful, this individual is required to be organized and detail oriented. This individual will work closely with the customer, the supplier and planning. The position is located in a warehouse environment. Secondary responsibilities will be required to support as directed

Responsibilities include:

• Follow up on inquiries including stock availability checks, order status, reports, issues (quality/technical)
• Take the lead on customer inquiries/issues. Monitor general inbox throughout day.
• Process customer spares and intercompany PO’s in SAP
• Follow up with supply chain and or suppliers to ensure backlog commit dates are current
• Confirm and provide customer order acknowledgement in SAP
• Prepare customer spares quotes in SAP
• Interface with After Sales for updated pricing
• Process warranty requests from field in SAP
• Interface with suppliers as needed
• Support Cycle counts, as needed
• Invoice corrections as needed for finance
• Comply with Sox and ISO standards
• Additional duties as business environment changes
• The Company may modify your title, responsibilities, job description, and/or reporting relationship from time to time at its discretion

Position Requirements:

• Proficient knowledge of SAP system, Service Notifications knowledge highly desirable
• Organized and detail oriented
• Understanding of capital equipment manufacturing with an emphasis on chemical vapor deposition equipment
• Material planning skills desired but not required
• Ability to work on problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
