About the Role

Wing is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Analytics team. This role can be based in Palo Alto, California, or remotely within the United States.

The Senior Data Analyst will use data and analytics to solve complex business problems, evaluate strategic options, and help leadership make informed decisions. The role requires a self-starter who can work through ambiguity, identify relevant data sources, develop analytical models, and translate findings into clear recommendations.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions, conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses, and build dashboards and automated workflows where appropriate to make insights accessible and useful for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Identify appropriate data sources to address ambiguous business questions and ensure analytical accuracy.
• Design and develop robust models to evaluate tradeoffs and quantify potential business impact.
• Conduct scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to support strategic decisions.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Develop dashboards, automated workflows, and self-service analytics to operationalize insights where applicable.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to turn ambiguous problems into well-defined analytical questions.
• Support data-informed decision-making by presenting findings in a clear, decision-focused manner.
• Use analytical results to help stakeholders assess options, understand potential outcomes, and prioritize actions.

Required Qualifications

• Three to six or more years of experience in analytics, data science, business analytics, consulting, or strategic data roles.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field, such as data analytics or mathematics.
• Strong experience in data analysis, modeling, and applied analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python, or similar analytical tools.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex, ambiguous business problems and develop actionable solutions.
• Experience building scenario models, forecasts, or tradeoff analyses to guide business decisions.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex analyses clearly.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive meaningful results.
• Experience collaborating with leadership and influencing decisions across multiple functions.

Salary & Benefits

Annual base salary range: $128,000–$170,000.

The position is also eligible for bonus compensation, equity, and benefits. Actual salary ranges depend on the role, level, and work location. Candidates can discuss the applicable salary range for their location with the recruiter during the hiring process.
