Role: Software Engineer Lead – Performance Engineering

Must-Have Skills

10+ years of experience in Performance Engineering, Systems Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field.
Expert-level hands-on experience with Dynatrace for application performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Advanced Java JVM diagnostics, including heap analysis, GC tuning, memory diagnostics, memory leaks, and thread analysis.
Advanced Microsoft .NET diagnostics, including CLR troubleshooting, memory analysis, thread diagnostics, and application performance tuning.
Strong experience in performance testing, load testing, scalability analysis, and resiliency testing.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
Strong scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
Proven ability to identify, communicate, and implement infrastructure and application optimization opportunities.
Excellent technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, consulting, mentoring, and presentation skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience deploying and supporting enterprise AI platforms.
Experience with AWS, Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and hybrid-cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, or other enterprise performance testing tools.
Experience implementing observability strategies and operational excellence programs.
Strong background in SRE practices and production reliability engineering.
Experience developing engineering training programs and mentoring technical teams.
Banking or financial services domain experience.
