About the Opportunity:

The DATA ENGINEER role is integral to maintaining and building data pipelines that support critical processes such as money movement, fraud detection, and client reporting. This position works closely with engineers and stakeholders to develop robust data infrastructure components, ensuring data reliability and efficiency. The role contributes significantly to the organization's ability to deliver accurate and timely financial services.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data pipelines relied upon by teams and customers
• Integrate with internal and external APIs for data exchange
• Automate workflows using Airflow on Kubernetes
• Implement unit tests, monitoring, and alerting for data reliability
• Enhance observability and efficiency of existing pipelines
• Monitor production pipelines, debug issues, and document root causes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate assumptions
• Participate in design discussions to identify functional gaps early

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Data Engineering experience
• Minimum 3 years of Airflow experience
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Airflow, DBT, GCP
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Preferred: experience in fintech, payments, or related industry
• Preferred: experience managing Airflow

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Base salary range is $135000 to $145000 annually, varying based on skill, experience, and education
