Job Description
About the Role
A leading organization is seeking an experienced Data Readiness Assessment Specialist to execute Perficient Data Readiness Assessments (DRA) across multiple in-scope source systems, including Oracle ATG, SAP ECC, SAP CPQ extracts, and Stibo STEP.
This role will independently manage the assessment process from source connectivity and scan configuration through results analysis and validation with client data stewards. The specialist will translate assessment findings into actionable decisions, domain scorecards, pre-cutover issue lists, and measured baselines and tolerances that will inform data migration reconciliation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Perficient DRA assessments across in-scope source systems, including Oracle ATG, SAP ECC, SAP CPQ extracts, and Stibo STEP.
- Connect source systems, configure rule sets, run scans, interpret results, and validate findings.
- Use data profiling and quality tools to assess completeness, validity, uniqueness, consistency, and referential integrity.
- Analyze profiling results and distinguish genuine data defects from benign data patterns.
- Perform duplicate detection, clustering, and survivorship analysis to identify data issues requiring resolution before migration.
- Classify sensitive data and design scans that profile information in place while transferring only aggregated results.
- Apply a working understanding of GDPR and data residency requirements when planning data profiling activities.
- Validate tool-generated findings using SQL, investigate flagged records, and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Prepare domain scorecards, pre-cutover issue lists, measured baselines, and assessment tolerances.
- Work directly with client data stewards to agree on tolerances and adjudicate exceptions.
- Translate assessment findings into design implications, effort estimates, and program decisions.
- Support the development of migration reconciliation gates using established data quality baselines and tolerances.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience operating a data profiling and quality platform end to end, including source connections, rule configuration, scan execution, and results interpretation.
- Experience with Perficient DRA is preferred; Informatica IDQ, Oracle EDQ, or Collibra experience is also acceptable, with the ability to ramp up on Perficient DRA.
- Strong SQL skills, particularly with Oracle, including the ability to validate profiling results and investigate flagged data.
- Knowledge of data profiling and classification methods, including completeness, validity, uniqueness, consistency, and referential integrity.
- Experience with duplicate detection, clustering, and survivorship analysis.
- Working understanding of sensitive-data classification, GDPR, and data residency considerations.
- Ability to translate data quality findings into practical design decisions and revised effort estimates.
- Strong communication skills and experience working directly with business data stewards to establish tolerances and resolve exceptions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience profiling SAP-sourced data.
- Experience working with large-scale product and catalog data.
- Experience with multi-country address verification.
- Python experience.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual base salary of $165,000, plus bonus and benefits.
