Job Title: Data Center Technician

Location: Palo Alto, California

Duration: Full Time Role

Pay Rate: $35-$45/Hr

About The Opportunity

Our firm is searching for Data Center Operations Technician / SiteOps professionals in Palo Alto.

This hands-on role supports the reliability and day-to-day operation of an active data center. You will troubleshoot and repair hardware, support equipment deployments, maintain accurate asset records, and respond to incidents in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data center operations or infrastructure support
Hands-on experience with server deployments, hardware troubleshooting, break/fix work, cabling, rack-and-stack, and decommissioning
Experience maintaining operational documentation, including SOPs, MOPs, rack elevations, asset records, and troubleshooting guides
Strong understanding of server hardware, Linux/Windows fundamentals, power, cooling, and network infrastructure
Experience with inventory management, audits, ticketing systems, and change management
Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and document findings clearly
Strong attention to detail and experience working in large-scale data center environments
Scripting or automation experience with Python, Bash, APIs, Jira, or similar tools
