Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to define best practices in DevOps methodologies.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security through the implementation of configuration management tools.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in real-time.
• Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to the DevOps team.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance automation, monitoring, and deployment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Architect, or in a similar role (5+ years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Certification in cloud technologies or DevOps practices is a plus.

Technologies & Tools

In this position, you will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS or Azure for cloud services, Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration, Jenkins or GitLab CI for continuous integration and deployment, Terraform for infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana. Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases is also beneficial.
