Job Overview

Radiansys Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Architect/SRE Architect to join our dynamic team either remotely or at our Oakland, CA location. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, highly available systems in alignment with our business objectives. Leveraging expertise in both Development and Operations, you will facilitate the adoption of DevOps practices and principles, promoting automation, monitoring, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance system reliability and performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and services to support scalable applications.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless software delivery.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
• Enhance security and compliance across the DevOps pipelines and processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application architectures and integration points.
• Lead the culture shift towards DevOps practices within the organization.
• Automate recurring tasks to enhance productivity and system reliability.
• Document architecture, processes, and procedures for system design and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.
• Expertise in cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins).
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation tasks.
• Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security components related to cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a thorough understanding of troubleshooting methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Technologies & Tools
