Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions in accordance with best practices and company standards.

• Monitor and optimize application performance on cloud infrastructure to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on DevOps practices and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or cloud architect role.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and teamwork.

In this position, the DevOps Cloud Architect will work with a variety of technologies and tools to streamline processes, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Docker and Kubernetes for container management, Jenkins or GitLab for continuous integration and delivery, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
