Job Overview

The DevOps Engineer at 3Pillar Global will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the infrastructure that supports our software development and deployment processes. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Utilize monitoring and alerting tools to track system performance and identify issues proactively.
• Collaborate with development teams to foster the adoption of DevOps best practices.
• Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline operations and enhance workflow efficiency.
• Ensure a high level of security across all systems and applications through best practices and tools.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to minimize downtime.
• Continuously evaluate existing processes and propose improvements to enhance performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role or related positions.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Understanding of networking and security principles related to cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.

This position will utilize a range of technologies and tools including but not limited to AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Git, and various monitoring and logging solutions. The candidate should be comfortable working with these tools to manage cloud infrastructures, automate deployments, and monitor application health within our ecosystem.
