Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize API solutions ensuring high availability and performance.
• Work closely with software development teams to streamline the development and deployment processes.
• Establish monitoring and logging practices to maintain system health and performance.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using scripting and DevOps tools.
• Conduct security assessments and implement security best practices for API services.
• Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and technical guidance to resolve issues quickly.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions that meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles focusing on API management.
• Proficiency in tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.

Technologies & Tools

In this role, you will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI, containerization technologies like Docker, orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, and API management tools.
