DevOps Engineer – Azure Administration

Role Overview

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong Azure Administration and infrastructure experience to support, maintain, automate, and secure enterprise cloud environments and 24x7 production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure, services, networking, security, and identity.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve system, network, application, and database connectivity problems.
• Support and maintain Windows and Linux/Unix environments, including security, upgrades, and ongoing administration.
• Develop and maintain automation using Python, Shell, or Perl and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
• Manage and troubleshoot Azure services including Web Services, Kubernetes, Key Vault, DNS, Identity Services, Front Door, Traffic Manager, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Network Watcher.
• Support network administration, including firewalls, ACLs/NAT, TCP/IP, security, and network upgrades.
• Develop operational documentation, procedures, and SLA/service-level reports.
• Participate in 24x7 production support and incident resolution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of systems administration experience.
• 3+ years of Azure Administration experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Windows and Linux/Unix administration, networking, monitoring, troubleshooting, and security.
• Hands-on experience with at least three Azure/DevOps technologies such as Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, DNS, or Network Watcher.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Shell, or Perl.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
