Overview

The DevOps Engineer at Confidencial will be a pivotal figure in our technology team, focusing on the integration and automation within blockchain technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of container orchestration, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and infrastructure management. The DevOps Engineer will work collaboratively with development and operational teams to streamline processes, enhance system reliability, and ensure the secure and efficient deployment of blockchain applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines for blockchain development projects.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor and maintain system performance, implementing optimizations as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system integration and deployment.
• Implement robust security practices and compliance measures across DevOps processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and blockchain frameworks, providing recommendations for integration and improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or equivalent role, with a focus on blockchain technology preferred.
• Proficient in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar.
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Solid understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience in deploying and managing blockchain networks and applications.

Technologies & Tools

The DevOps Engineer will work extensively with a variety of technologies and tools including but not limited to Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform for IaC, Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines, AWS or Azure for cloud services, and relevant blockchain platforms such as Ethereum or Hyperledger. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana is also essential for system performance analysis and improvement.
