  • Experience deploying and operating containerized applications on Kubernetes; deep AKS experience is preferred.
  • Strong automation and scripting skills, together with experience in observability and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of GitOps principles and experience applying them to platform or pipeline design.
  • Familiarity with release strategies, environment promotion, and progressive delivery approaches such as blue-green and canary deployments.
  • Experience working in a regulated or large enterprise environment is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts, collaborate across teams, and mentor fellow engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipeline standards using GitHub Actions.
  • Define container build, image management, and deployment standards for application teams.
  • Lead CI/CD integration with AKS, including deployment, release, and promotion models.
  • Establish and maintain reusable Helm-based deployment patterns.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps engineers.
  • Partner with cloud and security teams to align platform practices with operational and security requirements.
  • Identify and reduce technical debt across pipelines, automation, and delivery tooling.
  • Continuously improve the reliability, operability, scalability, and security of application delivery, while strengthening the developer experience.
