Overview

Element 84 is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will play a fundamental role in advancing our development and deployment processes by implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating system operations, and fostering a culture of collaboration among software development and operations teams. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with software development teams to enhance and optimize application development.
• Ensure security best practices are integrated into the development and deployment processes.
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Facilitate continuous improvement of operations and development practices.
• Provide operational support, incident management, and service level agreement (SLA) compliance.
• Document architecture, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar experience in software development.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Technologies & Tools
