Job Overview

EdEx - Education Recruitment is seeking a talented and self-motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely in Texas. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure for our educational applications.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the continuous integration and deployment of software.
• Automate operational processes to enhance efficiency and enforce best practices.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise in production environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to define and deliver new application functionality.
• Ensure security compliance and best practices across all systems and services.
• Document installation processes, operational procedures, and system configurations.
• Review system configurations and implement upgrades as necessary to keep systems current.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role or in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of cloud service platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
• Solid understanding of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
