Job Overview

Provision IAM is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining seamless CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the robustness and reliability of our deployment systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps philosophies, as well as hands-on experience with various tools and technologies that support automated operations. Your contributions will be pivotal in optimizing our software development life cycle and accelerating our deployment processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support agile development processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of software solutions.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to maintain uptime and reliability.
• Automate manual processes to improve operational efficiency across the development team.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of applications and systems.
• Maintain documentation and best practices for processes and systems.
• Evaluate, integrate, and implement new tools and technologies to advance DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Solid knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior DevOps Engineer will work with a diverse set of technologies and tools, including but not limited to Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and monitoring solutions like Prometheus and Grafana. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases is also advantageous, as is experience with various scripting languages for automation purposes.
