Job Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Provision IAM, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our infrastructure and continuous delivery pipelines. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with development and operations teams to improve and automate our processes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security for our deployment environments. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and highly available systems across multiple cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enhance the software development process.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, implementing solutions promptly.
• Collaborate with software engineers to streamline application deployments and release processes.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using relevant tools to automate deployment and management processes.
• Establish and enforce security best practices across the development and deployment frameworks.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to improve team capabilities and efficiencies.
• Document and maintain operational procedures and user guides for system management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Extensive experience with cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior DevOps Engineer will primarily work with tools and technologies including but not limited to AWS for cloud management, Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration, Terraform for infrastructure as code, Jenkins or GitLab CI for continuous integration and deployment processes.
