Job Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Provision IAM, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operations. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support application development and deployment.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and responsiveness of systems.
• Automate routine tasks and processes using configuration management and orchestration tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and provide scalable solutions.
• Implement security measures and protocols to safeguard infrastructure and sensitive data.
• Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related engineering roles.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior DevOps Engineer will work with a variety of technologies and tools essential for maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure, including but not limited to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git, and experience with databases will also be beneficial.
