Overview

Provision IAM is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer at the Senior level to enhance our dynamic and rapidly growing team on a remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the software development lifecycle, implementing CI/CD practices, and fostering a culture of collaboration between development and operations. Your expertise will drive efficiency, reliability, and scalability in our infrastructure while enabling the seamless delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Automate deployment processes across multiple environments to ensure consistent and repeatable builds.
• Monitor system performance and identify bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and optimize their workflows.
• Implement security best practices throughout the system and application lifecycle.
• Conduct training and provide guidance on DevOps practices within the team.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for troubleshooting and resolution of system issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
• Proficiency with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages, including Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and databases, especially SQL and NoSQL systems.

Technologies & Tools

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Provision IAM, you will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Python, and Ansible. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack will also be beneficial for performance tracking and system alerting.
