Overview

Provision IAM is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructures, and ensuring optimal system performance. This position will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to automate processes, enhance the deployment workflows, and ensure the security and reliability of our applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for application development and release.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment processes.
• Implement and manage security best practices across the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Maintain and optimize cloud services and architecture to enhance operational efficiency.
• Document processes, policies, and procedures for team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related fields.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior DevOps Engineer will utilize a variety of technologies including AWS for cloud computing, Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration, Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment, and various monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana to ensure system reliability and performance. Familiarity with Git for version control and Terraform for infrastructure management will be essential in this role.
