Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Provision IAM, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automating infrastructure management, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud environments. You will work collaboratively with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to manage code releases while also improving the deployment process, monitoring system performance, and implementing best practices for DevOps methodologies.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
• Automate system configurations and provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and system issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance the implementation of DevOps practices.
• Implement security best practices within the DevOps processes.
• Optimize existing processes for efficiency and improved workflow.
• Support and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Document operational processes and changes for knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of networking, system administration, and security practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system issues.
