Job Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineer at Provision IAM will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing various development and operational tools and processes to enhance the efficiency and reliability of software delivery. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable cloud infrastructures on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and integration of applications.
• Enhance system monitoring, logging, and alerting for performance and health checks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to manage code releases and promote effective workflows.
• Identify and address inefficiencies in software development and delivery processes, advocating for best practices in DevOps methodologies.
• Perform system backups, data recovery, and upgrades to increase system resilience.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior DevOps engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of software development and operations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and Git for version control.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles, with experience in tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
