Job Overview

The DevOps Engineer/Build and Release at Select Source International will play a critical role in the integration and delivery processes of our software projects. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automated build and deployment processes.
• Manage cloud-based infrastructure and services, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues across multiple environments.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation tasks using tools such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing within the build pipeline.
• Implement security best practices in the deployment process to safeguard applications.
• Participate in on-call rotations for incident response and operational support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Build and Release Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Technologies & Tools

The selected candidate will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS or Azure for cloud management, Docker for containerization, Kubernetes for orchestration, Jenkins or GitLab CI for continuous integration, and Terraform for infrastructure as code. Familiarity with monitoring solutions like Prometheus and Grafana is also beneficial, as is experience with version control systems such as Git.
