Job Overview

Agility Partners is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineering Senior Advisor to lead our initiatives in streamlining and automating the software delivery process. Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) to optimize software delivery.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to design robust, scalable, and secure systems.
• Automate testing processes and develop scripts to enhance software functionality and performance.
• Monitor and manage system performance through debugging and analyzing logs.
• Guide the team in the use of best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) and cloud management.
• Lead incident management and perform post-mortem analysis to identify areas for improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and suggest innovative solutions to optimize system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk) for system performance tracking.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
