Job Overview

Vantage Point Consulting Inc. is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer/SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) to join our dynamic team. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and integration processes.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of services.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues across the development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain documentation for system infrastructure and configuration.
• Deploy, manage, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Implement security best practices in the deployment and management of services.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support and incident resolution.
• Continually evaluate and improve the performance and stability of systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, system security, and monitoring concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with teams across multiple time zones.
