Job Description

Digital Marketing Director

Southwest Spine & Sports (SWSS) | https://swspineandsports.com | Scottsdale, Arizona

Full-time | Hybrid: four days on-site, one day remote | Reports to executive leadership

Compensation: $85,000–$110,000 plus performance-based incentive

Position overview:

Southwest Spine & Sports is a physician-led Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) practice dedicated to individualized, non-surgical care. As the practice prepares for significant growth and change, this role offers the opportunity to move beyond a narrowly defined corporate marketing position. The Digital Marketing Director will lead initiatives from strategy through hands-on execution, building the brand, engaging patients, and expanding physician referrals.

Key responsibilities:

1. Marketing strategy, leadership & budget: Own marketing strategy, plans, campaigns, budgets, vendors, and measurable results.

2. Content & social media: Create blogs, photos, and reels for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok; film patient testimonials on site; and lead paid social campaigns to improve conversion from traffic to revenue.

3. Patient engagement: Lead patient communications, email campaigns, follow-up, and outreach while protecting health information (PHI) under HIPAA.

4. Reputation & referral relationships: Grow B2B reputation and physician referral relationships by overseeing reviews, responses, and testimonials, and implementing a reputation management system.

5. CRM & reporting: Use Zoho CRM/Analytics at superuser level to build reports, segment leads, resolve routine data issues, and evaluate conversions and campaign ROI.

6. Website & search collaboration: Drive optimization of the website’s UX and SEO, update WordPress content, and introduce an AI-powered chat for FAQs. Develop landing pages, conduct A/B testing, and analyze conversion, Google Ads, GA4, and Search Console data. Build a robust reporting framework to track performance and provide campaign recommendations for continuous improvement.

7. Brand, print & public relations: Manage brand guidelines, brochures, print ads, press releases, media outreach, and interviews.

8. Events & community outreach: Lead open houses, presentations, networking, and community events, including follow-up.

Measures of success: Grow qualified inquiries and consultations; increase the number of referring providers and referral volume per provider; improve engagement, reputation, and campaign returns.

Required experience & qualifications: Five or more years of experience and/or demonstrated competency in marketing communications, including hands-on experience with content and social media, branding, public relations, events, and referrals. Strong writing, creative, analytical, and organizational skills; healthcare experience preferred. Degree or equivalent experience.

Technology expectations: Superuser-level proficiency in CRM, CMS, and marketing analytics is required. Experience with Zoho, WordPress, Google Ads/GA4, Search Console, and AI tools is preferred. Responsibilities include independently building reports and segments, maintaining landing pages, troubleshooting workflows, and validating conversions. Technical support remains responsible for hosting, security, code, integrations, and full administration.
