Dining Services Assistant Manager

to support dining operations in healthcare and long-term care facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day management of kitchen and dining room operations
Support staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance oversight
Ensure safe food handling, sanitation, and adherence to regulatory requirements
Coordinate menus, portioning, and special diets for residents
Support budget and inventory controls, including ordering and resource management
Maintain a high-quality, patient-centered dining experience through teamwork and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Skills

Experience supporting dining or food service operations, preferably in healthcare
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and compliance practices
Ability to train and lead a team while monitoring performance
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Customer-focused mindset with effective communication and collaboration
