Director, Global Security - REMOTE USA

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Global Security to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will shape and execute the enterprise security strategy across regions, with a strong focus on risk management, crisis preparedness, and executive protection. The Director will partner closely with Legal, HR, EHS, and other stakeholders to establish practical standards that protect people, assets, and operations. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring deep experience in multinational environments and the ability to guide security programs that support business continuity.

Location: Dulles, VA

Compensation: $200,000 – $215,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of global security strategy and operations
• Identify and assess global security risks as part of enterprise risk management
• Establish security policies and standards across regions
• Oversee physical security systems and security assessments
• Support crisis management and major incident response efforts
• Define travel security protocols and executive protection strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including EHS, Legal, and HR
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field
• 20+ years of relevant experience in security, law enforcement, or corporate risk
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing security teams
• Experience in multinational corporate environments and executive protection programs is a plus
• Master's degree or advanced certifications such as CPP, PSP, or PCI are desirable
