Director of Compliance

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Compliance based in the United States.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for shaping HR compliance strategy across the United States and Canada. You will help strengthen governance, manage employment-related risk, and turn complex regulations into practical business solutions. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in investigations, policies, labor relations, and compliance programs. You will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams including HR, Legal, Finance, Technology, and Employee Relations. A key focus will be leading Canadian labor relations, including collective bargaining, contract administration, and grievance resolution. This is an opportunity to modernize compliance practices, influence enterprise-wide decisions, and build scalable programs in a complex, evolving environment. The position is remote and offers meaningful scope to shape the future of compliance across two countries.
