Job Description
The opportunity
We’re a fast-growing label manufacturer with an ambitious plan for the next stage of growth, and this is the seat that drives it. As Director of Growth Marketing you’ll own how new customers find us, how leads become customers, and why customers come back and order more. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial business driver: aggressive about growth, disciplined about profit, and fluent in reinvesting what the business earns into what scales it. This is a hands-on role for an operator who still loves being in the ad accounts: you’ll run the campaigns yourself, prove the results, and build the team as the wins compound.
What you’ll own
- New-customer acquisition as the primary target, through paid search and shopping (Google and Microsoft Ads) that you personally manage and relentlessly optimize for profitable growth
- Lead generation and a rich, qualified pipeline for our Sales team
- Engagement and nurture across the full lifecycle, from first touch to first order to loyal repeat customer, through email, promotions, win-back, and automated programs
- Growing average order value, retention, and repeat engagement
- Investing like an owner: putting budget behind the channels with proven returns and reinvesting profit to scale them
- Measurement and attribution that connects every dollar of spend to leads, new customers, and repeat revenue
- Our social, content, and brand presence, working with our in-house creative team
- The growth plan, built in close partnership with Sales, Client Services, and our Ecommerce team
- Growing the marketing team as results justify it
What it takes
- 10+ years in performance or growth marketing, ideally ecommerce or B2B self-serve
- An entrepreneurial, business-builder mindset: an aggressive growth mentality matched with strong profit discipline
- A clear grasp of unit economics and how to reinvest operating profit to scale growth
- Recent, hands-on mastery of Google Ads Search and Shopping; you build and tune campaigns yourself
- A track record of scaling paid budgets profitably, not just spending more
- Proven lead-generation, nurture, and lifecycle programs that grow pipeline, order value, and retention
- Fluency in email / lifecycle, GA4, and attribution; comfortable living in the data
- Experience guiding creative, content, and social work with an in-house team
- Lean, accountable, and energized by measurable results
Why it’s worth it
Few roles have this much direct influence on a company’s growth. You’ll have a seat with leadership, real budget, and the freedom to move fast. We hold a high bar and reward the people who move the numbers, with a path to build and lead the team as we scale.
Compensation & benefits
- Competitive base plus a quarterly performance bonus tied to growth results
- Health, dental, vision; 401(k) with company match; PTO + holidays
Pre-employment screening
Offers of employment are conditional and contingent on satisfactory completion of pre-employment screening, which may include job-related skills and other assessments, a background check, and verification of your employment history and references. While skills and other assessments may be required as part of the interview process, background checks, if applicable, are conducted only after a conditional offer and only with the separate written disclosure and your authorization provided at that stage, in compliance with the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
