Driver/Swing Driver (DOT-3)

Role: Operates company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously within assigned routes. Ensures shipments meet service standards and performs related customer service functions. Provides route coverage within the station's service area and performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High school diploma/GED required. Preferably six months courier experience and knowledge of the service area. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance or equipment. Good communication skills, dependability, adaptability, and a neat appearance are essential. Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic and safety communication. Meets federal motor carrier safety regulations and medical requirements.

Key Duties: Safe vehicle operation, package handling, route coverage, customer interaction, and adherence to safety policies. Must work alertly and responsibly in a safety-sensitive environment. Additional requirements include meeting specific federal and company vehicle operation policies.
