E-commerce Growth Partner

Frank the Dogtopus is a patented dog toy shaped like an octopus, with treats tucked inside the tentacles. We raised over $300,000 on Kickstarter, are shipping to more than 5,000 backers now, and are relaunching on Shopify in November 2026.

We’re looking for a growth partner to lead marketing, social, and digital sales as we move from crowdfunding to a full ecommerce business. This is an equity role for someone who wants real ownership in a brand with proven demand and a protected product.

Frank is a whimsical, quirky toy, and the brand should feel the same way. We want someone ambitious and fun who brings that energy to everything from a TikTok to a launch plan, and who is just as serious about hitting sales targets.

What you’ll own

• Strategy and execution for the Shopify relaunch, including preorders and conversion
• All social channels and content, with a focus on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram
• Turning thousands of backer photos and videos into user generated content and a creator program
• Paid acquisition, email, and SMS
• Amazon and marketplace strategy as we scale

What we’re looking for

• A track record of scaling a direct to consumer product online, ideally in pet
• Hands on experience with Shopify, Meta and TikTok ads, and Klaviyo
• Strong instincts for social content and community building
• A playful creative voice and a sense of humor that fits a brand like Frank
• Ambition, drive, and an entrepreneurial mindset, with interest in building something as an owner, not a vendor
