Role Description This full-time on-site Electrician role is based in the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area and involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, wiring and rewiring circuits, installing panels, outlets, and lighting, and performing routine inspections to ensure compliance with electrical codes. The Electrician will diagnose electrical issues, perform troubleshooting and corrective repairs, and document work performed with accurate records. The role also includes collaborating with team members and clients, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining tools and materials in good working condition.

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of electricity and electrical work, including wiring, circuits, and electrical components.
• Experience with maintenance & repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Proficient troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical faults and system issues.
• Understanding of basic electrical engineering principles relevant to installations and system performance.
• Working knowledge of local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Valid electrician license or certification applicable to the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail, reliable time management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform on-site work, including standing, lifting, and working in various environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites.
