Entry Level Scientist I with NGS Library Preparation Experience (Onsite Job in Pleasanton, CA)

Location: Pleasanton, CA (onsite)

Duration: 12 months contract (with possible extension)

Terms: Contract W2

Skills

• Educational Qualifications: Candidates with a Master's or PhD will be considered overqualified for this position; candidates with a Bachelor's degree may be a better fit.
• Interview Process: Initial phone screening followed by a virtual panel interview.
• Preferred Experience: Hands-on experience with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Technical Skills:

• NGS library preparation
• Quality control (QC) of NGS libraries
• Target enrichment techniques

Experience Requirements:

• Scientist I: Entry-level opportunity; prior industry experience is not required.
• Scientist II: Typically requires 2–3 years of industry experience following completion of a Bachelor's degree.
• Conversion Opportunity: There may be an opportunity for contractors to transition to permanent employment, depending on their performance and business needs.
