Position Overview

As an Expert DevOps Engineer (SRE) at Veradigm®, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and applications. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, automate, and maintain robust infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Your expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles will help enhance our software development lifecycle, optimizing both system performance and security.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated solutions for deployment and configuration management.
• Monitor and maintain system health and performance, ensuring the availability of applications and environment.
• Collaborate with development teams to adopt operational best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for system failures and performance issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and procedures.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and services to optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins, Git, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic) and logging solutions (e.g., ELK Stack).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
