Overview

Fingerprint for Success (F4S) is looking for a motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing and automating our development operations. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve system architecture and design.
• Automate repetitive tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain and support the infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production services.
• Document processes, procedures, and configurations for future reference.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby).
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools and infrastructure management.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• A strong commitment to best practices in development and deployment.

Technologies & Tools

The DevOps Engineer at F4S will be working with a variety of technologies and tools including but not limited to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Prometheus, and Grafana. Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet is also beneficial, as is experience with database technologies including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
