Overview

Fingerprint for Success (F4S) is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for enhancing our infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring system reliability through continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Your expertise will guide best practices in DevOps methodologies, fostering collaboration between development and operations teams to optimize our software delivery lifecycle and improve service availability and performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain systems and tools that enhance our CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with software engineers to adopt best practices in source control, testing, and deployment.
• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and operational procedures.
• Implement automation solutions for repetitive tasks to increase efficiency.
• Provide on-call support and troubleshooting for production systems.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve our infrastructure and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or system administration roles.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Solid understanding of networking and security protocols.
