Job Description
This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our preferred payroll provider, Magnit.
Role Description
Palo Alto Networks is looking for an Extended Expertise Consultant (EEC) to partner directly with our end customers to provide guidance and technical support to clients deploying our security integrations. You’ll act as the technical partner, providing strategic guidance around complex systems to secure a digital environment. Interacting directly with the client, you’ll partner closely with client personnel to guide and suggest integrations to better serve their success. Your thorough understanding of our product integrations contributes to the development of new principles and concepts – providing detailed analysis around what’s working, what’s not, and what could be better. The Extended Expertise Consultant can make the biggest impact with our customers on how they view our product and to gain their confidence in our technical leadership and solutions in general. This is a senior, extremely technical, hands-on, customer-facing role that has an immediate and directly measurable impact on our product with customers and partners. The ideal candidate for this position will thrive at taking extremely complex, brittle customer environments and revolutionizing them using our product – all while navigating the nuances and complexities of customer requirements and needs. The EEC is the face of Palo Alto Networks whether on-site or interacting with customers by email/telephone.
Location: This is a 100% remote role.
Your Impact
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, this is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $147K/year - $167K/year. Please note that the compensation information in this posting reflects the hourly wage only and does not include benefits. Magnit offers Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K. Magnit is not able to provide assistance to candidates requiring sponsorship or a visa for this position.
