Overview

Dexian Inc. is seeking an F1-OPT Junior DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our integration and deployment processes through automation and collaboration. The Junior DevOps Engineer will support the development and operations teams by implementing best practices in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), as well as managing cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Collaborate with software development teams to enhance release processes and workflows.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in deployment environments.
• Contribute to the automation of development, testing, and deployment tasks.
• Support infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Participate in establishing DevOps best practices and standards.
• Document processes, configurations, and workflows to facilitate team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or graduated from a Computer Science or related field, with valid F1-OPT status.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix-based operating systems.
• Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
• Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Java.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Technologies & Tools

The Junior DevOps Engineer will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to Docker for containerization, Jenkins for CI/CD automation, Terraform for IaC, as well as cloud services from AWS or Azure.
