Location: United States (100% Remote)

Job Type: Full-time

Experience Level: Mid-Senior Level

Role Summary

We are seeking an analytically rigorous and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our corporate finance team. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance / VP of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in managing the firm's financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and corporate accounting workflows.

As a remote finance professional, you will act as a strategic partner to our business leaders, turning complex data sets into actionable financial insights that drive profitability and scale. The ideal candidate possesses strong corporate finance fundamentals within the financial services or asset management industry, possesses advanced modeling capabilities, and thrives in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, and multi-year financial modeling processes to support corporate growth objectives.
  • Strategic Modeling & Scenario Planning: Build, maintain, and stress-test complex financial models evaluating revenue metrics, unit economics, fee structures, and capital allocation strategies.
  • Financial Reporting & Variance Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual executive reporting packages; deliver deep-dive variance analyses (Actual vs. Budget) to the leadership team.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Monitor corporate liquidity, oversee cash flow forecasting, and optimize treasury functions across various entity structures.
  • Accounting & Audit Oversight: Partner with internal accounting resources and external CPA firms to streamline month-end close processes, revenue recognition, and financial audits.
  • Process Automation & Systems: Identify opportunities to automate data aggregation and improve the scalability of our corporate finance tools, ERP systems, and BI dashboards.
  • Cross-Functional Advisory: Provide data-backed financial guidance and performance metrics to cross-functional teams to assist with pricing, vendor selection, and project-based ROI analysis.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field. Corporate certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA are a distinct advantage.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or accounting, with a preferred background in financial services, asset management, RIAs, or FinTech.
  • Technical Mastery: Elite proficiency in financial modeling using advanced Excel; hands-on experience with modern cloud ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct) and FP&A tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Mosaic).
  • Data Visualization: Proficiency with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to build dashboards and synthesize financial stories visually.
  • Remote Proactivity: Self-directed operator who manages deadlines effortlessly in a 100% remote workspace, leveraging communication tools like Slack, Zoom, and Jira.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills; ability to translate dense financial metrics into digestible insights for non-finance stakeholders.

What We Offer

  • Highly competitive base salary with an annual performance-based bonus structure.
  • Comprehensive premium medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with an attractive corporate matching program.
  • Flexible, unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) policy.
  • Generous home office setup stipend and monthly technology/internet allowance.
  • Funded allocation for ongoing professional development, licensing courses, and education.
