Financial Analyst | Remote (United States) | Full-time

We are seeking an organized, motivated professional to review financial results and explain significant variances. The role emphasizes financial reporting, budgeting support, and careful variance analysis. You will collaborate remotely, document your work, and raise questions when information is unclear.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain financial spreadsheets and ensure formulas reference current inputs.
Prepare simple variance explanations for review by finance colleagues.
Organize financial records and verify that totals reconcile.
Identify missing inputs and raise questions about unusual figures.
Summarize cost and revenue trends using approved financial data.
Coordinate reporting inputs and clarify deadlines with stakeholders.
Check financial schedules for completeness and arithmetic accuracy.

Qualifications

Relevant finance, accounting, or business coursework is useful.
Comfort using Excel formulas, charts, and basic spreadsheet analysis.
Willingness to learn budgeting and reporting systems.
Experience with reconciliations or financial reports is helpful.
Ability to explain simple financial findings clearly.
