Job Description

We’re partnering with a growing, international manufacturer that is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its operations team. This is a highly visible role supporting complex maintenance and service programs, where you’ll turn data into clear insights that drive better business decisions.

The ideal candidate is not just technically strong in Excel and accounting, but also curious, analytical, and confident presenting recommendations to leadership. Recent feedback from the hiring manager has emphasized the need for someone who

  • Thinks critically and can connect the dots across data set
  • Assesses risk and draws sound business conclusions, not just reports number
  • Communicates clearly, with organized, well‑structured slides and explanation
  • Brings strong analytical problem‑solving, business judgment, and organization of thought

What you’ll do:

  • Build and maintain financial models and dashboards to support data‑driven decisions and show program financial impacts
  • Analyze historical operational data to surface trends, risks, and opportunities, and translate them into actionable recommendations for the business
  • Support business cases and bid reviews for key customers and campaigns, challenging assumptions and pressure‑testing scenarios
  • Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and presentations to management
  • Contribute to annual planning and quarterly forecasts, including scenario analysis across income statement and cash flow
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to help stakeholders understand and forecast spending, while ensuring compliance with internal financial guidelines

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a finance, FP&A, or analytical role
  • Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills; you’re comfortable digging into data, framing problems, and taking a position
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience building or enhancing financial models and reports
  • Solid grounding in financial accounting/controlling and the ability to turn business questions into quantitative analysis
  • Clear, structured communication skills—both in writing and in presentations
  • Organized, self‑directed working style with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with SAP (FI/CO) and exposure to manufacturing or aviation is a plus, not a requirement

Why this role:

  • Opportunity to work in a global, complex, asset‑intensive environment with meaningful exposure to senior stakeholders
  • Broad scope: modeling, analysis, business cases, forecasting, and presentations—not a narrow, back‑office role
  • Competitive salary, comprehensive medical/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) with company match, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and wellness perks (gym reimbursement, EAP, and more)

If you’re a finance professional who loves solving problems, structuring your thinking, and influencing decisions with data - not just building spreadsheets - we’d like to hear from you.
