Job Description

Registered Nurse (Float Pool) provides patient-first, comprehensive nursing care across multiple hospital units within a regional healthcare system.

Key Duties

Assess patients, develop nursing care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes for diverse populations.
Administer medications and treatments and perform clinical interventions according to evidence-based standards.
Coordinate safe, high-quality care by collaborating with physicians and interprofessional teams.
Document patient care and clinical findings in the electronic health record.
Support patient and family education to promote understanding and engagement.
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

Current Registered Nurse licensure.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and care-planning skills.
Proficiency in medication administration, treatments, and evidence-based practice.
Effective communication and teamwork with cross-functional care teams.
Ability to adapt to varying unit needs and patient acuity.
Competence with electronic health record documentation.
