About The Role

As a Full Stack Developer, you will design, develop, test, and maintain both the front-end and back-end components of web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to clarify requirements and deliver effective technical solutions. Your work will include creating responsive interfaces, building server-side services, integrating databases, and developing APIs that support application functionality. You will write clean, efficient, and scalable code, with attention to application performance, usability, security, and maintainability. The role also involves investigating technical issues, improving existing systems, and contributing to reliable software releases. You will be encouraged to share ideas, learn from peers, and stay informed about relevant technologies and development practices.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. You should have professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a comparable software development role. Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework, such as React, Angular, or Vue, is required. You should also be familiar with a back-end language and framework, such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or .NET, and have experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB. Knowledge of RESTful API design, Git or another version control system, and sound software development practices is expected. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and clear communication skills are important.

Preferred qualifications include experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; Docker or Kubernetes; CI/CD pipelines; automated testing; Agile development; and web application security best practices. Familiarity with these tools and approaches is an advantage, but candidates who can demonstrate relevant learning and practical experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain responsive front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries. Build, enhance, and support back-end services, business logic, and APIs. Partner with product and design colleagues to translate user needs and business requirements into reliable features. Work with databases to support effective data storage, retrieval, and application performance. Write and maintain unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and apply agreed engineering standards. Identify and resolve defects, troubleshoot performance issues, and improve the speed, scalability, and reliability of existing applications. Contribute to technical planning and implementation discussions, document work where appropriate, and collaborate with teammates to deliver changes effectively. Keep up with relevant technologies and share opportunities to improve development processes, product quality, and the user experience.
