About the Role

NextGen Coding Company is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Developer to design, build, and maintain production software systems for client engagements. This role requires strong skills across frontend and backend development, system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and software delivery.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, adapting to unfamiliar technologies, and taking ownership of projects from initial design through deployment. Experience delivering production systems across multiple industries is important, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders in a remote consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build scalable, production-ready software systems.
• Develop full-stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Build APIs, data pipelines, automation systems, and internal tools.
• Contribute to system architecture, technical planning, and implementation decisions for client projects.
• Write reliable, maintainable code with minimal supervision.
• Review code and help maintain consistent engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including those involving distributed systems.
• Collaborate with delivery managers, quality assurance teams, and designers to deliver reliable software.
• Document system architecture, technical decisions, and implementation details.
• Adapt to new technologies, existing codebases, and changing project requirements.

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building and maintaining multiple production systems across different industries.
• Strong full-stack development experience across frontend and backend technologies.
• Experience designing system architecture and scalable applications.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly and work effectively with existing codebases.
• Experience working with remote or distributed engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with product, design, delivery, and other technical teams.
• Ability to manage technical work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Eligibility to complete the required U.S. tax documentation for engagement. The company specifies that applicants must submit a W-9 when hired and does not accept OPT, W-8, or other sponsorship arrangements.

Preferred Qualifications / Requirements

Experience with AI integrations, automation systems, or data platforms is a strong plus.

Candidates should be comfortable working with technologies across the following areas:

• Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks.
• Backend: Python, Node.js, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Data: PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases, data pipelines, and integrations.
• Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments.

Salary & Benefits

The compensation rate is $30 per hour, with a commitment of 40 hours per week.
