About The Company

CrowdStrike is a global leader in cybersecurity, protecting the people, processes, and technologies that power modern organizations. Since 2011, the company has focused on stopping breaches and redefining modern security through its AI-native platform. CrowdStrike operates large-scale distributed systems that process nearly three trillion events every day, with that volume continuing to grow. Customers across industries rely on the company to help keep their businesses operating, their communities safe, and their lives moving forward.

At CrowdStrike, employees are known as CrowdStrikers and are encouraged to build their careers with flexibility and autonomy. The company promotes responsible AI adoption, experimentation, and innovation, using an AI-first mindset to accelerate execution, develop expertise, uncover insights, and solve complex problems. CrowdStrike brings together people who are passionate about its mission, focused on innovation, and committed to customers, communities, and one another.

About The Role

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Infrastructure team. In this role, you will help develop and improve the tools that enable engineering teams to build, deploy, and observe software across the company’s global environment. You will contribute to infrastructure capabilities that support reliable, scalable services and help engineers deliver improvements efficiently.

This is an opportunity to work on systems operating at significant scale and to collaborate with colleagues across a globally distributed engineering organization. You will bring sound technical judgment to complex infrastructure challenges, help turn operational needs into effective software solutions, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Your work will support teams building and operating products that customers depend on to protect their organizations.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will bring substantial software engineering experience and a strong foundation in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining production software. You should be comfortable working with distributed systems and understand the considerations involved in building services and tools that need to scale and remain dependable.

We are looking for an engineer who can investigate complex problems, communicate technical decisions clearly, and collaborate effectively with partners across engineering. The ability to balance near-term delivery with maintainability, reliability, and thoughtful system design is important. Experience developing infrastructure, deployment, observability, or developer productivity tools is relevant to this role. Candidates should also demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to learning, including responsible use of AI to improve their work and explore solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain software tools that support the company’s infrastructure and engineering workflows. Contribute to capabilities that help teams build, deploy, and observe services, and improve the usability and effectiveness of these tools over time. Work with engineering partners to understand operational challenges, clarify requirements, and deliver practical solutions.

Help evaluate system performance, reliability, and scalability, and identify opportunities to strengthen infrastructure as traffic and customer needs grow. Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, testing, and documentation. Investigate issues, share findings, and contribute to improvements that reduce friction for engineering teams. Apply responsible AI practices where useful, while maintaining sound judgment around quality, security, and the needs of users.

Benefits

CrowdStrike supports employees with a flexible, autonomy-oriented work culture and opportunities to contribute to meaningful cybersecurity work. Team members can collaborate with talented colleagues, develop their skills, and take on challenging problems with broad impact. Specific benefits, programs, and eligibility may vary by location and employment arrangement and will be shared during the hiring process.

Equal Opportunity

CrowdStrike is committed to building an inclusive workplace and welcomes candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Employment decisions are made without regard to characteristics protected by applicable law. The company values a respectful environment where people can contribute, grow, and work together toward its mission of stopping breaches.
