About The Company
CrowdStrike is a global cybersecurity company dedicated to protecting the people, processes, and technologies that power modern organizations. Since 2011, its mission has been to stop breaches and help customers operate with confidence. The company has redefined modern security through an AI-native platform and processes nearly three trillion events each day, with that volume continuing to grow. Customers across industries rely on CrowdStrike to help protect their businesses, communities, and the people they serve.
At CrowdStrike, innovation is grounded in a clear mission and a strong commitment to customers. Employees are encouraged to take ownership of their work, develop their expertise, and contribute to a culture of responsible AI adoption. The company values experimentation, collaboration, and practical problem-solving as it continues to advance cybersecurity.
About The Role
CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Infrastructure team. In this role, you will help develop and improve the tools and systems that enable engineering teams to build, deploy, and observe software at global scale. You will contribute to the infrastructure behind services that support a high-volume, distributed environment and help ensure that teams can deliver dependable products efficiently.
You will work closely with engineers and cross-functional partners to understand infrastructure needs, solve complex technical challenges, and improve the reliability and usability of internal systems. This position is suited to an experienced engineer who enjoys building foundational capabilities, thinking systematically about scale, and helping others work more effectively. You will have opportunities to influence technical direction while remaining hands-on in design, implementation, testing, and ongoing improvement.
Qualifications
Candidates should have substantial professional experience in software engineering and a record of delivering maintainable, production-quality systems. You should be comfortable designing and developing software for distributed environments, and able to reason about reliability, scalability, performance, and operational readiness. Experience building infrastructure, developer tools, deployment systems, or observability capabilities is relevant to this role.
Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate technical ideas clearly. You should work effectively across teams, take ownership of projects, and balance immediate needs with long-term engineering quality. A thoughtful approach to security, responsible use of AI tools, and continuous learning will help you contribute to CrowdStrike’s mission and engineering culture.
Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and maintain infrastructure tools and services that support software development and delivery. Improve systems used to build and deploy applications, helping engineering teams release changes safely and efficiently. Develop and enhance observability capabilities so teams can understand system behavior, identify issues, and make informed operational decisions.
Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to clarify requirements, evaluate technical options, and deliver practical solutions. Identify opportunities to strengthen system reliability, scalability, and performance as workloads and customer needs evolve. Participate in design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts. Document important systems and share knowledge that helps teammates operate and extend them effectively.
Benefits
CrowdStrike offers the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cybersecurity mission while working on large-scale engineering challenges. The company supports flexibility and autonomy, giving employees room to take ownership and build their careers. You will work alongside colleagues focused on innovation, customer impact, and responsible adoption of emerging technologies. Benefit details may vary by role and location and will be shared during the hiring process.
Equal Opportunity
CrowdStrike is committed to building an inclusive workplace where individuals are respected and can contribute their skills and perspectives. Employment decisions are made based on qualifications, merit, and business needs, without discrimination as prohibited by applicable law. The company welcomes applicants who share its commitment to customers, colleagues, and the communities it serves.
