GCP Data Engineer (AI Experience) - Hartford, CT (HYBRID) Hartford,CT w2

Location: Hartford, CT (Onsite 3 days/week; must be local)

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Minimum 7 years hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) data services
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with:
Designing and implementing robust data pipelines using GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub)
Developing/managing workflows with Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow)
Writing efficient, scalable Python code
Crafting complex SQL queries in BigQuery
Building/maintaining real-time data processing systems (Apache Kafka)
Modeling/managing NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
Shell scripting and Linux system administration
Conducting data profiling and validation to ensure quality and integrity
Developing/maintaining API integration scripts
Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues
Creating/maintaining data flow diagrams
Demonstrated experience with AI tools like GPT and Gemini for business use cases (must be clearly highlighted on resume)
Strong understanding of distributed systems and data engineering best practices
Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Experience working in Agile environments (SAFe methodology preferred)
Experience collaborating with offshore teams (onshore/offshore support model)

Preferred Skills & Experience

GCP Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification
Experience with GitHub, RTC, and automation tools

Other Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
