Overview

Intellect IT is seeking a skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance. This role will encompass the automation of deployments, management of CI/CD pipelines, and the monitoring of infrastructure, ultimately helping to advance our organization's cloud initiatives and support our business goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using GCP monitoring tools.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Collaborate with software developers and IT staff to oversee code releases.
• Ensure security and compliance best practices are integrated into the DevOps processes.
• Maintain documentation related to system architecture, deployment, and operation procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps role or similar positions focusing on cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
